Favorite Quote/passage
"In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then in that very moment I also love him. I think it's impossible to really understand somebody, what they want, what they believe, and not love them the way they love themselves."
I loved this quotation. It is saying that there are moment when you hate someone that you really want to kill that person so bad. But as you get to understand that person, you will not want to kill or hurt that person anymore. For example, there's one girl and one boy. There's moment the girl lies to the boy. The boy will get really mad, wants to revenge or something. But when he asks what happen to the girl, like why she lied to that boy, he will understand, and doesn't want to revenge or hurt her anymore.
The Climax
Ender gets the final test from Command School. The task was destroying the bugger colony. So, he ended up destroying the Buggers on the test. The Buggers are destroied, and they thought Earth was safe. The climax of this story, is when Ender discovers that he was fighting with the buggers for real, the last game, and actually he was not playing the game. At first even me, I was very confused and shocked. I was reminding myself that it is just the game, but at that moment it was NOT the game. There was no turning back, becuase he has already killed all the thousands of buggers. I couldn't believe that little kid killed all the buggers by himself. It was a BIG IRONY and a shocking fact.
The major theme
The major theme in this story is manipulation and the hatred among the people. In this book, relationship between adults and children is very weird. They manipulate each other and hate each other. Graff is the example who controls Ender the most, and gives him so much stress. Ender doesn't want to give influence over people, but he is manipulated by adults. He does things by their force; killing is one of the examples.
On the other hand, although the adults often manipulate or control the children, this is not always the case. Peter and Valentine, two kids, dominate the worldwide political system and also control adults. Children in this book are smaller than adults in size, but other than that, we can say that everything is the same as the adults, such as thoughts, emotion, and whatever.
In the battle school, everyone hates Ender because they are so jealous because Ender is better at everything than anyone else. He wins the game every time, and even adults knew his intelligence. Due to his special ability, everyone hated him. The book represents Ender's loneliness throughout the whole story.

The entry of my choice
To be honest, i chose this book because it has interesting book cover and also people said Ender's Game is easy to read. A young boy with the space suit and float in the sky. I really liked it. I was thinking something about universe. Even though i dont appriciate science fiction, I just read it. However, I was wrong, the story was not about the universe. It takes the place in the universe, but everything happens in the Battle School.
This book takes you to the another planet of your imagination. Because of the unique and uncommon setting, it is kind of hard to feel how does character feels in the story. When you read this book, you might fall into your own imagination all the time because it is totally different than the setting of the earth. Such as Battle school, or the room with no gravity. Can you imagine with no gravity? And for me, that was the most exciting point.

The mood
At first, I thought maybe because of the fancy book cover, the overall mood will be like so much fun. I began reading, and it was kind of interesting and unique story with serious mood, but I still liked it. Later on, i realized this whole book is about manipulating and hatred between poeple. Overall mood of Ender's Game saddened me. As i was reading it, it becomes more and more cruel. The mood was depressing, dark, and sad. It even made me to have compassion on Ender.
Ender had to do most of the things by force that he didn't want to do, doing something by force or pressure, controlled by someone is really hard and sad thing. He deals with this problems everyday, and it gives him so much stresses. Besides, people hate Ender because they are all jealous of his intelligence. He was always hated by people including his brother. Only one who loves Ender was his sister Valentine. So his sorrow reveals through this entire book.

The main Characters.
Ender
Like book says Ender is the Third among his siblings; he is younger brother of Peter and Valentine. Ender is scared of his brother Peter, but he loves his sister Valentine. He is different than anybody else, he has special ability, he knows everything at the first time, and he is a genius. Colonel Graff and the international Fleet came to take Ender to help save humans from the buggers, Ender was age six when he chosen by them. He didn't have any freedom for everything, he was always controlled by someone else, and so Ender is angry at the various people who manipulate him throughout the novel. Every time, Ender makes things happen, and he gets his own army to command when he is nine.
I like him so much! he is so cute and smart little guy. I like how he talks like adults, and being very wise.
Valentine
She is Ender's older sister and loves him more than anything with her true heart. She tries as best as she can to protect him from other people, such as Peter. Valentine was very interested in the worlds, so she writes about politics' situation. She uses pseudonym Demosthenes, begins to give influence over the growing situation. Later, she becomes very famous, but nobody knows that it's her. Valentine also writes a letter to Ender to encourage him from stresses. At the end of the book, Valentine persuaded Ender to go with her to colonize the bugger worlds, and she works on a history of the world on even there. Afterwards, she goes with Ender as he explore for a new buggers' world.
I like her passion of her love to her brother. Even though everyone hates Ender, she never betrays him; she is warm hearted.
Peter
Peter is a character who is very different from Ender and Valentine. Although he is the oldest among his siblings, he is evil hearted, and cruel. He is jealous of his siblings and tries to control them, moreover he tries to control over the world. He hates Ender because Ender was so much smarter than him. Peter becomes more and more greedy over controlling the world, then he used pseudonym Locke, starts to gather power, study through the communication nets. Ender's success made Peter to have power to control entire Earth and becomes Hegemon. (The king). Even after that, he was kind of wick and selfish, and enjoyed his position. At the end he becomes friendly to Ender.
I hate this character, Peter. He is a a villain´s role of this story, so he is selfish, cruel, does all the bad stuff like an evil. I don't like that he is trying to be cool by controlling the entire world.
Colonel Graff
Graff is a man who takes Ender from his family and leads him into the battle school. He manipulates Ender, and demands so many things. But the other hand, he trusts Ender and loves and cares about him. He is the boss, leader of the battle school until Ender leaves. He is put on trial after the war because of the deaths of Stilson and Bonzo but acquitted.
I don't like Graff, because he manipulates Ender and gives him stress.
